Or at least let stations be attached to one another to make for bigger stations, just like in OpenTTD, and no I am not talking about the grouping function. Unless in TPF they have fixed the odd glitching of trains that are too big for the platform (I assume they did) its still not going to "look right" when a major 100 car train pulls up to a platform and overextends by hundreds of meters on either end. Its possible to build a separate station. Much like how stations can be attached to one another in OpenTTD to make massive stations for massive trains, this works along the same line but lets you manually add more length.Ä£20m is NOT enough platform for some major trains that would be fun to build, especially for fright trains. Basically making the platform piece be a peaceable object to the side of the rail, and auto "attaches" to the nearest station. When using timetabling and cargodist, it becomes possible to make quite complex realistic networks. I know in the vlogs ect that you can actively change a station on the fly, which is VERY nice, but what I am talking about is the ability to ADD more platform. OpenTTD is fairly clever with pathfinding on this anyway - large trains go to large platforms, through trains try to go to through platforms) but it's a) Not infallable b) Not as powerful as I'd like for eyecandy and realism purposes.
